LEED AP Exam Preparation and Project Experience
In addition to providing the LEED project experience required to qualify to write the LEED 2009 exam and 15 LEED specific CE hours for credential maintenance for those with a LEED GA designation, this workshop includes LEED AP BD+C (Building Design and Construction) test preparation. Time will be divided between performing meaningful work on current LEED registered projects, and exam preparation using practice questions with answers and explanations, tips on writing multiple-choice exams and participant Q&A.

Creative Collaboration This course is ideal for individuals who work in teams for idea generation, problem solving and design and offers practical advice and exercises on how to increase both personal creativity, and the creative output of teams. The theories and exercises can be applied to anything from creating a company human resources policy, to brainstorming new product and service offerings, to the conception of complex projects involving multiple disciplines.

About the instructor: Brenda Martens is the principal and founder of aedify and has over 20 years experience in the building industry. She is a LEED Fellow, the highest designation attainable in the green building profession, and has created course curriculum for the Canada Green Building Council and the University of British Columbia. Some of the projects that Brenda has worked on as a co-founder and past Principal of Recollective Consulting include the Vancouver Olympic Village (LEED Gold and Platinum certified), The Okanagan College Centre of Excellence (Living Building Candidate), and over 20 BC Housing residential projects across British Columbia. In addition to her project work, Brenda is faculty with the CaGBC & UBC Continuing Studies; currently serves on the LEED Canada Steering committee; is the chair of the Sites and Water Technical Advisory Group (TAG) and is a past board member of the Cascadia Green Building Council.
