E3 Lunch & Learn – LEED Midrise vs. LEED NC

E3’s second Lunch & Learn is happening this October! This is an opportunity for you to join us on seminars and discussions about the latest technologies, practices, and current topics and issues in the green building industry.

This session will focus on the LEED Midrise rating system in comparison to the LEED NC system. LEED Midrise is a rating system catered to residential developments of 4 storeys or more. Compared to traditional LEED NC certification it has greater emphasis on builder and project team involvement, and often requires less documentation and paperwork. It is recognized by the City of Vancouver as an option to meet the rezoning requirement of achieving LEED Gold certification, and many architects and developers alike have already expressed their preference in using this rating system. Come join us at this Lunch & Learn to find out more about LEED Midrise!

This afternoon session will begin with a talk given by E3’s green building and energy efficiency expert Troy Glasner, followed by a Q&A and short interactive discussion session. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
