Green building tour for Earth Day
E3 was honoured to be invited to the Pembina Institute’s Green Building Tour yesterday at King Edward Villa. Put together in conjunction with Performance Contracting and Innotech Windows, the tour highlighted the amazing building envelope and energy conservation measures at the King Edward Villa project.
As part of the Rental 100 project, Performance worked with the client as well as the consultants to put together smart building solutions not only for construction but also for long-term building operations and maintenance. The residential portion of the building is estimated at only 8 kwh/sm/yr, an outstanding metric.
